Is there a fee to post a project on SenData?
Posting a project and setting a budget is completely free. You only pay once you've chosen the freelancer you like and started the project — the money is held in escrow, and the freelancer is only paid when you approve the report. The only extra fee applies if you opt in to a 'deadline guarantee' (default 10% of the project price).
Can I preview the report before paying?
Yes. The freelancer uploads the .pbix file → SenData publishes it to a Power BI workspace → it's embedded directly into the project page so you can view the complete dashboard, click filters, and drill down. You only pay when you're satisfied.
What if the freelancer doesn't deliver what I asked for?
You have the right to request revisions or reject the work. Your money is not lost because SenData holds it in escrow. Disputes are handled by an admin within 48 hours. In the worst case, you get a 100% refund.
How long does a complete dashboard take?
On average 1-3 weeks for a basic dashboard (5-10 KPIs, 1-2 data sources). More complex ones (multi-source, RLS) can take 4-8 weeks. The freelancer will give a concrete timeline before closing the deal.
Can I rehire a freelancer for my next project?
Yes. After completing one project, you can chat directly and propose a monthly maintenance plan or a new project. SenData encourages long-term collaboration between clients and quality freelancers.
How do I become a freelancer on SenData?
Sign up with the Freelancer role → upload a portfolio (3 Power BI reports you've built) → an admin reviews it → onboarding. The process takes 2-5 business days.
How much commission does SenData take per project?
The default platform fee is 2% of earnings (charged when money moves from escrow into your wallet). This is one of the lowest fees compared to freelance marketplaces in Vietnam and abroad. No monthly subscription, no registration fee.
When do I receive my money?
After the client approves the report, the money moves from escrow into your freelancer wallet. You request a withdrawal, and an admin processes the bank transfer within 1-3 business days.
Does SenData hold the money (escrow)?
Yes. When the client pays, the money is held in SenData's escrow account. It's only released to the freelancer once the client officially approves the report. This mechanism protects both sides.
Which payment channels are supported?
Domestic Vietnamese bank transfers (Vietcombank, Techcombank, BIDV, MB Bank, etc.). Momo and VNPay are in development. International credit cards are not yet supported.
Is there a refund guarantee?
Yes. Within 7 days of the freelancer submitting the report, if quality isn't up to standard or the freelancer doesn't respond, you can request a refund. An admin processes it within 48 hours.
Can I sign up with Google/Microsoft?
Yes. SenData supports quick sign-up via Google OAuth and Microsoft (Azure AD). The account is activated automatically — no email verification needed.
Is report data secure?
SenData's Power BI workspace is hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud with enterprise-grade security. Each report has its own embed token that expires after 60 minutes. Clients and freelancers only see reports for projects they're part of.
