1. Definitions
In these terms, “SenData” (also “we”, “the website”) is the online marketplace at sendata.vn. “Client” is the individual or organization posting a project to hire freelancers. “Freelancer” is the individual providing Power BI report / data analysis services through the platform.
2. Account registration
- Users must be 18+ and have full legal capacity.
- Registration information must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Each individual may own only 1 client account + 1 freelancer account.
- The password is the user's responsibility. SenData is not liable for damages caused by password leaks.
3. Rights and obligations
The client: describe the project clearly, provide the necessary data sources, pay on time per the agreed milestones, and not request work outside the agreed scope.
The freelancer: deliver by the deadline and within scope, take no more than 2 active projects at once, and not disclose client data to third parties.
SenData: act as a verifying intermediary and ensure safe payment, provide technical support, resolve disputes fairly within 48 business hours, and protect user information per the Privacy Policy.
4. Service fees and payment
- Posting a project and creating an account: free.
- Platform fee: 2% of project value, deducted from the freelancer's wallet when the payment is recorded.
- The client transfers payment to SenData after approving the report. The amount is credited to the freelancer's wallet only after SenData verifies receipt.
- The freelancer withdraws funds (withdrawal request) — the admin processes the transfer within 1-3 business days.
- Transaction currency: VND. Foreign-currency transactions are not yet supported.
5. Refunds and disputes
The client may request a refund within 7 days of the freelancer submitting the report if the quality is unsatisfactory or the freelancer doesn't respond. Disputes are reviewed by a SenData admin based on: the original project description, chat history, and delivered files. The admin's decision is final and binding on both parties.
6. Intellectual property
After the client pays in full, ownership of the report (.pbix file, dataset, DAX formulas...) belongs to the client. The freelancer may list the project in their portfolio only if the client checks “Allow portfolio publishing”. The SenData logo, platform code, and brand belong to SenData.
7. Prohibited conduct
- Contacting off-platform to avoid fees (off-platform deals) — accounts will be banned.
- Posting fake projects, spam, or abusing the system.
- Sharing your account with others.
- Uploading files containing malware, malicious code, or unlawful data.
8. Amendments to terms
SenData may amend these terms. Users are notified by email at least 7 days before new terms take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date = agreement to the new terms.
