Terms of Service

1. Definitions

In these terms, “SenData” (also “we”, “the website”) is the online marketplace at sendata.vn. “Client” is the individual or organization posting a project to hire freelancers. “Freelancer” is the individual providing Power BI report / data analysis services through the platform.

2. Account registration

• Users must be 18+ and have full legal capacity.
• Registration information must be accurate and kept up to date.
• Each individual may own only 1 client account + 1 freelancer account.
• The password is the user's responsibility. SenData is not liable for damages caused by password leaks.

3. Rights and obligations

The client: describe the project clearly, provide the necessary data sources, pay the agreed amount after approving the report (or each milestone), and not request work outside the agreed scope.

The freelancer: deliver by the deadline and within scope, take no more than 2 active projects at once, and not disclose client data to third parties.

SenData: operate the platform, verify and record payments, provide technical support, receive and review disputes as described in Section 5, and protect user information per the Privacy Policy.

4. Prices, service fees and payment

• Posting a project and creating an account: free.
• The client sets a budget when posting (not below the minimum shown by the system); freelancers may propose a different price when applying. Prices on the Pricing page are a reference only; the final price is agreed by both parties.
• Platform fee: a percentage of the project value, deducted from the freelancer's earnings when the payment is recorded. The applicable rate is shown to the freelancer on their earnings page.
• On-time guarantee (optional): the client pays an extra fee as a percentage of the project price, shown when posting.
• The client transfers payment to SenData after approving the report (for milestone projects: after approving each milestone). The amount is credited to the freelancer's wallet once SenData verifies receipt.
• The freelancer submits a withdrawal request from their wallet; SenData processes transfers in request order.
• Transaction currency: VND. Foreign-currency transactions are not yet supported.

5. Report approval, rejection and disputes

• The client reviews the embedded report on the platform before paying and can request changes on the project page. The freelancer may resubmit within the number of attempts the system allows.
• If the report does not match the agreed project description, the client may reject it and does not pay for a rejected report.
• Projects with the on-time guarantee: if the freelancer does not submit before the deadline, their submission rights are locked and the SenData team takes over to deliver the report to the client.
• If a payment was made in error (duplicate or wrong amount) or a dispute arises, contact admin@sendata.vn. SenData reviews the original project description, message history and delivered files, and may refund amounts not yet paid out to the freelancer. SenData's decision is final and binding on both parties.

6. Intellectual property

After the client pays in full, ownership of the report (.pbix file, dataset, DAX formulas...) belongs to the client. The freelancer may list the project in their portfolio only if the client checks “Allow portfolio publishing”. The SenData logo, platform code, and brand belong to SenData.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Contacting off-platform to avoid fees (off-platform deals) — accounts will be banned.
• Posting fake projects, spam, or abusing the system.
• Sharing your account with others.
• Uploading files containing malware, malicious code, or unlawful data.

8. Amendments to terms

SenData may amend these terms. Users are notified by email at least 7 days before new terms take effect. Continuing to use the service after the effective date = agreement to the new terms.
